Prayer Life
‘Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I also’
At St Benedict’s Catholic Primary School, we firmly believe that Collective Worship draws together and enhances all that we strive to do throughout the curriculum. It provides an opportunity for the school community to come together to participate in shared experiences of faith and life which we try to live out through our Mission Statement. As a result, the Spiritual core of our school is reinforced and encouraged on a daily basis, whether it is within the classroom, or in the context of a school assembly or within a liturgical experience. Collective Worship allows many aspects of the curriculum to be addressed which facilitates the spiritual, moral, social and cultural development of each child. We believe that the themes for Collective Worship should encompass a broad and balanced view of the world in which we live and the faith, which we follow. It is an integral part of the daily life of the school and provision of the Faith.
