Welcome to Kingfisher Class!
We are a Year 6 class, taught by Mrs Winter. In our final year at St Benedict’s, we build confidence, independence and resilience as we prepare for the exciting move to secondary school.
As the oldest children, we play an important role in our school community. Through responsibilities such as House Captains and Playground Leaders, we support children across the school, organise activities and help everyone feel welcome and included.
Being part of a small school means we know one another well and develop friendships across year groups. Our younger children look up to us, giving us valuable opportunities to lead with kindness, listen to others and make a positive difference.
Alongside our learning, we celebrate the experiences, friendships and achievements that make our final year together special.
What have we been up to?
Art Week
We started the year with a creative art week! We explored photography skills and used ICT to edit and transform our images, creating a range of unique artwork. Take a look at our class gallery—we are proud to share our creations!
